Orashi honours The Reformer Publisher

The people
of Orashi covering Ahoada-East, West, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni and Abua/Odual LGAs in
Rivers State have honoured Mr. Nna Frank-Jack publisher of The Reformer
Newspaper for distinguishing himself in the sphere of Journalism.
Speaking
while presenting a plaque from The Orashi Project International to Mr. Frank –
Jack on January 30, 2007, at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Press
Centre, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, the Queen of Orashi, Queen Faith Nwabueze
said, Mr. Frank-Jack has been honoured with “Excellence in media
entrepreneurship” award to encourage him to greater service for humanity.
She said
the Orashi people had followed the activities of Frank-Jack diligently, and
therefore, found him worthy for the award. She enjoined him not to relent to
continually serve in the area of his calling.
On his
part, Chairman of Rivers State Publishers Association, Mr. Isikima Harry,
showered accolades on the Orashi people for finding their colleague worthy for
such recognition.
On behalf
of the publishers, he pledged the readiness of the media to partner with the
Orashi people.
The
beneficiary of the award and publisher of The Reformer Newspaper, Mr.
Frank-Jack thanked the Orashi people for finding him worthy of the award, and
pledged his continual support for the Orashi region.
