ONELGA chairman lauds Wokocha’s appointment

The chairman of the Caretaker Committee
of Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area, Hon. Goodluck Isaac has
congratulated Hon. Augustine Wokocha over his appointment as the Rivers State
Commissioner for Power.
Hon. Isaac, who described the new
power commissioner as a seasoned lawmaker and administrator said the
appointment was informed by Wokocha’s consistency and steadfast disposition in
galvanising the wheels of democracy.
The council boss said ONELGA people
were particularly happy over the appointment as the appointment has further
underscored and reinforced the commissioner’s untiring faith in good
governance.
Hon Isaac explained that Wokocha was
very ripe for the new role and status having passed through political social
and economic upheavals in his career as a politician.
The chairman urged him to give the
best he can to the people of the state and humanity, adding that the Governor
appointed persons that would execute assignments without attracting blame to
the government.
He commended the Governor, Chibuike
Amaechi for finding him worthy to serve in his cabinet and hoped that more
ONELGA sons and daughters would be favoured in future appointments.
He advised Wokocha to give the world
the best he has since according to him, no act of kindness, no matter how
small, is wasted.
He, however, enjoined the people of
ONELGA to throw their weight behind the present administration to ensure the
sustainability of democracy.
